27th

I recently celebrated my 27th birthday. I wonder if 27 is already considered one's "late 20's"... I don't feel that old, though I noticed I've outgrown some stuff I used to do like being overly excited about my birthday. The day is still a big deal for me, and regardless of what anyone thinks, I still feel lucky and special to be born in December. :D

Highlights of my day were the little surprises I got. First is the bday cake I got from Raymund when the clock striked 12 on Friday. Next would be the balloons and greetings I got at work. Definitely had no idea anyone knew about my birthday. I don't really remember writing it down on any form I filled up save for the tax form I filed.

As I've said in my FB bday album, I do feel overwhelmed and extremely grateful for all the accomplishments, milestones and blessings I got this year, and the past 27 years really. I didn't think I'd be able to accomplish this much at 27 - the Lord has blessed me with so much, and I can only hope to share my blessings with others.

Oh, and of course since it was my birthday, I got to have 1 candle wish (which I'm not telling). It wasn't for myself, that much I can say. If that comes true (and I'll be working on it so that it does) I'll be one VERY happy girl. Fingers crossed and lots of prayers! ;)
