Being done with school (as in done DONE, not dreaming of taking a PhD), I'm reminded of how fun Saturdays can be! A day when I can do whatever I want without having to worry about waking up early or sleeping late, or homeworks and chores! :)
Yesterday morning I was by myself cos Raymund had to work overtime. So after attending spin and body pump (ideally I'd stay for yoga but I was just too pooped to spend 3 hours in the gym), I went to the farmer's market and bought stuff I'd be cooking for the next few days. Then I slaved away in the kitchen cooking sinigang and eggplant omelette which Raymund was very happy about! :) Oh, I baked some brownies too for a friend's birthday. Then we headed to the beach.
I added sour cream (from the tartar sauce I made for our fish and chips some days ago) though it tastes just about the same. Btw, this gluten-free brownie cake is also meant for my friend Niveen (I know you read my blog! :D But since I can't give it to you personally, I'd give it to my friend here instead, he has the same birthday as you.)!

Raymund and I drove some 90 km (we use km now, not miles) to Caloundra in Sunshine Coast. We made good use of our new iPod which played 90s rock music. I've surprised myself that I can still remember the lyrics to Metallica, Oasis, Nirvana and Radiohead. Would be nice to go on a real roadtrip, maybe to NSW sometime. :D
It was already dusk when we got there. But it was still nice to walk along the shore. :)It was too windy (and hence cold!). Can't get a good shot with my hair off my face. :D
Paw prints, stone cracks, waves and crab holes
Had dinner at a resto nearby (went in with sandy slippers). I've been craving risotto and seafood from watching too much My Kitchen Rules. In summary, an endorphin-filled day! :)))
