Hands down this is the best day I can ever remember

I'm writing this on the eve of Jan 20 because I'm pretty sure my day's gonna be packed tomorrow (looking forward to that acupuncture & massage after work! And to a dinner date!). Jan 20 has always been a special day since (almost) 11 years ago, for the obvious reason that that's when Raymund and I first became a couple. :)
Now I don't know how many times we've broken up, so I can't really say tomorrow's our 11th year anniversary. But the guy has stuck with me all these years and I find more reasons to be grateful everyday that I got so lucky. :)
So, Jan 20 '01. It wasn't an ordinary day, what with EDSA Dos going on and Erap finally impeached. There were no classes so what better way to spend the day than to go on a movie date! But since I was just 16 then, my parents weren't really comfortable letting me watch a movie alone with a boy. Haha. Raymund however mustered enough face to ask my dad's permission to take me out (he was nervous of course!). My dad surprisingly obliged, and off we went to watch Little Nicky. One word: BUTTERFLIES! :)))
We didn't really go on a fancy date, heck we just went to McDo after (hahaha). But for people in love *cringe*, things don't need to be grand to feel special. Even with the McDo merienda, Jan 20 still became the best day ever. Hands Down would have been the perfect song had it been released earlier, but at the time we were hung up on Pardon Me (from Little Nicky's OST). :)
To my fiance, if I were the one to propose I would've said, "how about some coffee, or drinks, or dinner, or a movie... for as long as we both shall live?" (from You've Got Mail. Hint: you should know my favorite movie lines by now). Thanks for being my lifetime coffee/dinner/movie date. You're paying of course. :D
